About this role
The Accountant is responsible for managing the financial activities of small companies, ensuring accurate financial reporting, tax compliance, and adherence to regulatory requirements. This role focuses on the smooth execution of accounting processes, quarterly financial statement preparation, and annual regulatory filings.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review financial statements for small companies on a quarterly basis, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting standards.
- Manage and ensure compliance with tax obligations, including filing timely returns (e.g., income, sales tax, VAT).
- Oversee and coordinate the annual compliance of regulatory requirements such as business permits, BIR, SEC.
- Assist in internal audits and work with external auditors as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in accounting.
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations, accounting principles, and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office.
Work Schedule
Monday to Saturday, flexible start between 8 am-9 am (8 am-5 pm or 9 am-6 pm).
